City man is shot Friday at apartment complex, police say

A Winston-Salem man was shot and wounded Friday at an apartment complex in the city, authorities said. Marquis Samuel Grant, 18, of Old Vineyard Road sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for treatment, Winston-Salem police said. I read from Winston Salem Journal that a city man was shot at his apartment complex. This is the statement from the police officer who investigated the scene. The forensic services technicians place evidence markers at the scene of the shooting at the said apartment. This apartment is the Alder Ridge Apartment. As a result of the shooting, Marquis Samuel grant, an 18 years old guy from Old Vineyard Road, sustained an injury. It’s a good thing that the injury sustained was minor and non-life threatening. He was taken to the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center to be treated. Shooting is always scary, I’m glad that no other people got injured and the victim doesn't incur life-threatening attack.
